| Born in Tarragona in and descended from a family of French viticultors from 1200. As did his predecessors he has dedicated his life to the world of wine. Trained in the most prestigious schools of oenology in Bordeaux, Bourgogne y Limoux , he worked in such renowned cellars as Moueix, producers of Petrus among others. His experience in the world of wine ranges from viticulture to marketing and evidently also to the production of his own wines. In 1979 he acquired his first estate in Priorat and started to produce his first wine of the area : Clos Mogador.
